Whiskey Shrimp



Need a quick and delicious recipe to impress friends, boyfriend / girlfriend, husband / wife or your in-laws? These prawns are fantastic as a starter or even as a main course with a side dish of your choice. Quick and easy, full of fresh ingredients. Here is my recipe for shrimps with whiskey.



Ingredients:


2 kg of shrimp

olive oil

6 cloves of garlic

2 onions

1 & 1/2 red pepper

2 tomatoes

1 bay leaf

1/2 chilli

1/2 glass of whiskey or if you prefer white wine (don't worry, when the prawns are ready you won't taste the whiskey)




Instructions:


Put in a pan the olive oil, garlic and chopped onion. After browning, add the tomatoes, chili (remove the seeds) and the minced pepper. Add the bay leaf. and let it simmer for 10 minutes remove the bay leaf, and remove the pan from the heat. With the help of a hand blender make the preparation into a sauce., then put the sauce back in the pan. Put the shrimps into the pan and stir well.








Let it cook until the shrimp are cooked. If you are not sure they are ready, take one out and try to peel it. If it peels easily, t's cooked! If not, put it back and try again after a couple of minutes.
